Hallmark Store now relegated to an isolated corner of West Towne Mall

 

The J C Penney side of the mall has struggled lately through a period of high turnover and empty storefronts.

Typically, a notice of new tenant is posted on the construction wall.  Here it's just a stretch of white.

And the food court isn't the draw it used to be, especially after half of the seating capacity was removed.  It hasn't been at full occupancy since before Covid.
