Richard Simmons, Internet Star?  (The New York Times, 8/23/2013)

Print edition headline:  "'Oldies" Star Has New Tricks".

Excerpt:    Like a lot of older people in show business, Mr. Simmons has been slow to fully grasp social media. He got famous the old-fashioned way. He released VHS tapes and DVDs (65 in total), gave radio interviews and trotted the talk television circuit.

Richard Simmons' website.

20 titles -- books, DVDs, even a few videos -- listed in LINKcat..

Among the many things, according to Barnes, that Simmons is:  talk-show pinata.
