The company Scott Walker keeps:
- Rick Perry won 16 polls in a row during the late summer and early fall of 2011, averaging 33%. Two months later, his average poll rating fell to single digits. By mid-January of 2012, it was adios, amigo. He did not prevail.
- Herman Cain became the flavor of the month (October 2011) after primary voters lost their taste for Perry. He won 8 and tied 2 of 15 consecutive polls. By early December, he was yesterday's news, putting up goose eggs. He did not prevail.
- Newt Gingrich averaged 35% in national polls during the month of December 2011. After March 2012, he struggled to reach 20%. He did not prevail.
Scott Walker's average poll rating peaked at 17.3 on April 1, 2015. He has since fallen to 5.5%. He will not prevail.
