Don't blame us. We never traded up.

We have lived in this 3-bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, 1850-square-foot, late 1950s ranch for 33 years.

REAL ESTATE.  People Are Staying in Their Homes Longer—a Big Reason for Slower Sales.  (Wall Street Journal, 11/3/2019)
Homeowners nationwide are remaining in their homes typically 13 years, five years longer than they did in 2010, according to a new analysis by mortgage broker Redfin.
When owners don't trade up to a larger home for a growing family or downsize when children leave, it plugs up the market for buyers coming behind them.

Who needs to downsize when you live in a house with just 2 "stairs"?  (It's built on a slab.)
