UPDATE. Scott Walker: Our sloganeering governor is at it again.

Somebody's got to lose.  And it won't be any of these folks.

6/7/2017 update, " Our sloganeering governor and his big, bold nonsense", starts here.

Here we are, 6 years, 4 months, and a handful of days into the Scott Walker era, and all he can do is point to his recall election victory as his historic accomplishment.

"Yea, me!" cheers Scottie, as he gears up for a third term.

Although his approval rating has improved since his sub-40% performance from August 2015 to August 2016, he's still underwater, i.e., more respondents disapprove.

Part 3 starts here.

Remember then?
Not just any jobs.  Private sector jobs.  Walker said he would declare an economic emergency on his first day in office and call a special session of the Legislature to address his economic plan.He pledged to bring 250,000 jobs to the state by the end of his first term and cut an array of taxes, starting with those on multi-state corporations and businesses with 50 or fewer employees.

Even now, it doesn't add up to 250,000.

One-hit wonders the Earls made their only appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 with this wonderful doo wop ditty.  It debuted at #94 for the week ending December 15, 1962.  It spent 9 weeks on the chart and peaked at #24.

Part 1 start here.

The fantasy

Still trying to convince himself?

The reality
Job creation slowed sharply in Wisconsin in 2016, raising questions and worries. (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, 6/2/2017)
Doesn't sound like third-term credentials to me.  Wages and employment fell sharply in 2016 in Wisconsin’s manufacturing sector, the biggest piston in the state’s economy, in a year that also saw the state’s weakest overall job performance since the 2008-'09 recession. The anemic jobs figures surprised economists at a time when the national economy evidently remains in expansion mode, and even have some beginning to wonder if a recession might be on the horizon.
