Ellis County, Texas: Why Republican strategists lose sleep at night

 Dallas-Fort Worth metro area

3rd party votes:  31% in 1992, 9.7% in 1996. 4.6% in 2016
(Alabama segregationist George Wallace received 23.6% of the vote in 1968)

Trump received 11,769 more votes than he did in 2016, a 26% increase.   Biden received 11,312 more votes than Clinton did in 2016, an increase of 70%.

Trump's share of the vote decreased by 3.8 percentage points.  Biden increased Clinton's share of the vote by 6.8 percentage points.
