Quoted in Trump rides high into Iowa stop after Congressional wins.  (Des Moines Register, 6/21/2017)

About those bodily fluids:
Trump's energy, low and dirty, by Paul Krugman.  (The New York Times, 5/29/2017)
On the personal side, Trump reportedly disdains exercise of any kind except golf. He believes that raising a sweat depletes the finite reserves of precious bodily fluids, I mean energy, that a person is born with, and should therefore be avoided.

Not sure that riding high is in order here.

The 4 House special elections so far this year have not been good news for the GOP.  Their margins of victory have shrunk considerably in mostly deep red districts.

But in terms of the implications for midterm elections in 2018, it’s much less clear that Republicans had a good night. For election forecasting purposes, the margins matter: that Ossoff and Parnell came fairly close to beating their opponents yields a different interpretation than if they’d been blown out. And South Carolina is an important data point, just as Georgia was, even if it received a fraction of as much media attention. The earlier special elections in Kansas’s 4th Congressional District and in Montana’s at-large district provide useful information about the political environment also.   [bold added]
