In 1922, his third year on the baby names chart, Daryl looked as though he was on a rocket to the big time.  But his jets quickly lost their propulsion.  He ended up spending 22 years in the top 200 (1951-1972), peaking at #161 in 1970.   His decline in popularity accelerated after 1985.  Ten years later, he dropped off the chart.
