Boone County, home of University of Missouri, sees spike in new Covid cases

Boone County currently has, by far, the highest rate of new Covid cases of all Missouri's 114 counties.

No increase in hospitalizations and deaths.  Vaccines work.

The stage was set back in January.

On Monday morning, the board members released an agenda for the immediate review of the system's COVID-19 protocols. During the 8 a.m. meeting Tuesday, MU Chancellor Mun Choi recommended two different versions of a mask requirement to start the spring semester.
The curators voted against both temporary masking recommendations.

Appointments are made by the Governor.  Missouri has had a Republicans governor since 2017.

Wonder how this event went?
