A smoking deck? The News reported that Galante spent $140,000 last year to renovate his offices - including $27,000 for a teak-tile rooftop deck outside his office that he uses for smoke breaks.
That’s on top of his $391,594 salary - and the $37,000 car he gets every three years.
Galante told the News Monday his salary is “average,” and accused the library workers union of trying to embarrass him after he outsourced janitorial services to a company that cut salaries in half.
Or maybe Galante has a preference for one of these.
