Not to mention removal of Porta-Potty that I managed to keep out of both frames.

Original 3/5/2018 post starts here.

Walking to the post office last Friday, I was surprised to see no house and large mounds of dirt at 1712 Park Street.

What used to be here? I wondered.

Google Street View (above) provided the answer late in the day.  Small house on a narrow lot.

Naturally I had to take a closer look.

And on the return walk, I checked out the view from the back yard.  (Through a fence that separates the property from the Middleton- Cross Plains Area School District administration building and grounds.)

The latest list of building permits sent out by the Middleton Public Works department today includes one for 1712 Park Street.  (New single-family dwelling.  4,042 total square feet.  $300,000 project cost.)

I found these elevations at Zillow.

Floor plans, too.

Strikes me as a bit of a tight squeeze for a 2,236-square-foot house on this lot.  We'll see.
