100 Years of Frank Sinatra: "Young at Heart"

"Young at Heart" was recorded on December 9, 1953, in Los Angeles.  The song was written in the same year by Carolyn Leigh "The Best is Yet to Come", "Witchcraft") and Johnny Richards.  The arrangement, of course, is Nelson Riddle's.

A million-seller, "Young at Heart" was the 11th most popular song of 1954 according to Billboard magazine.  It remains one of his signature tunes.

'Pa' and 'Ma', my dad's parents, look young at heart in this photo, one of the few I have of them where they are smiling.
