After the Ottawa County GOP last month called for a dozen Republican candidates running for public office to quit their primary campaigns, those Republicans sent a clear message during a press conference Friday, July 19.
“Know this: We will not withdraw,” said John Teeples, a Republican running for the county’s District 7 board seat. “We will not stand by and allow the Ottawa County GOP executive committee and a few other Ottawa Impact supporters dictate how thousands of eligible voters in Ottawa County should think or vote.”
