Hungary
The most recent case in Hungary was confirmed in Kerekegyháza, WOAH reported. The affected flock was described by the organization as “chickens,” but it did not clarify whether they were broilers, laying hens or breeding stock. A total of 20,412 birds were involved.
Spain
It its latest report on the Newcastle disease situation in Spain, WOAH reported that on September 8, the presence of the disease was confirmed in a poultry flock in Cantalejo. There were 4,400 birds in the flock, but WOAH did not specify what type of poultry was involved.
