According to the Siler City Police Department, in April, investigators received a tip regarding child pornography. During the investigation, it was discovered that a suspect, identified as 57-year-old Nelson Alexander Chay, was viewing and distributing child pornography through a messaging app called Kik.
On May 29, investigators conducted a search warrant at Chay’s home in the 1000 block of Parkwood Drive. During the search, law enforcement said they seized several mobile and electronic devices with child pornography on them.
