Passenger trains haven’t served Madison since the 1970s. 

The mostly civil comments on Walker’s post highlighted the current challenges with traveling Interstate 94 via car or Badger Bus. Traveling by Badger Bus “takes forever!” one commenter wrote, adding that I-94 can be dangerous in winter weather; another commented that a train would reduce traffic along other major highways near Madison.
