Mickey debuted in 1902 and struggled to gain a footing for two decades.  He eventually worked his way into the top half of the charts, treading water along the 300 mark and then experiencing a slight elevation in the late 1950s. (Hello, Mickey Mantle!)  By the late 1970s, he was on a steep slide to oblivion, falling off the chart for good in 1998.
