Kamala Harris holds her own in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin


Donald Trump received 33,912 votes in 2020 and 34,501 votes in 2024, a 1.7% increase of 589.   

Joe Biden received 26,517 votes in 2020, and Kamala Harris received 27,873 votes in 2024, a 5% increase of 1,356

In 1984, Ronald Reagan won Ozaukee County by 37.4 percentage points.

In 2020, Donald Trump won the county by 12.1 percentage points.

Will the county flip from Red to Blue in 2024?  Probably not, but likely to be close.

3rd party votes:  19.2% in 1992, 9.3% in 1996. 7.2% in  2016
(Alabama segregationist George Wallace received 7.3% of the vote in 1968)

Trump received 3,448 more votes than he did in 2016, a 11% increase.   Biden received 6,347 more votes than Clinton did in 2016, an increase of 31%.

Trump's share of the vote decreased by 0.6 percentage points.  Biden increased Clinton's share of the vote by 6.1 percentage points. 


The population of Ozaukee County has increased 36% since 1980.


Diversity is not Ozaukee County's strong suit.

But it does have a large number of well-educated, if older, residents.
