Kamala Harris holds her own in Delaware County, Ohio


Donald Trump received 66,356 votes in 2020 and 69,057 votes in 2024, a 4% increase of 2,701.   

Joe Biden received 57,735 votes in 2020, and Kamala Harris received 60,410 votes in 2024, a 4.6% increase of 2,675.

In 1984, Ronald Reagan won Delaware County by 53.1 percentage points.

In 2020, Donald Trump won the county by just 6.8 percentage points.

Will the county flip from Red to Blue in 2024?  It's possible, but if not, it'll be close.

3rd party votes:  25.5% in 1992, 9.3% in 1996, 6.8% in 2016
(Alabama segregationist George Wallace received 16.4% of the vote in 1968)

Trump received 8,788 more votes than he did in 2016, a 15% increase.   Biden received 16,862 more votes than Clinton did in 2016, an increase of 41%.

Trump's share of the vote decreased by 2 percentage points. Biden increased Clinton's share of the vote by 7 percentage points.


The population of Delaware County has increased 320% since 1980.

The county has a large Asian population.


As well as one that is highly education.  Not fertile ground for MAGA.
