This is Arizona’s fifth case since the start of 2025 and the fourth in Maricopa County alone, with previous confirmed cases at Maricopa layer flocks on May 19, May 27 and May 30. The only other commercial case of HPAI in the state outside of Maricopa was confirmed in Pinal County on January 27.
