Freedom Caucus crazy Trent Franks bypasses 2018 retirement announcement, goes directly to resignation

Another unlikely pickup opportunity for the Democrats in 2018.

Facing sexual harassment investigation, Arizona Rep. Trent Franks resigns.  (USA Today, 12/8/2017)

Underperforming, Trump won this district by 21.1 percentage points in 2016, whereas Romney won by 24.8 percentage points in 2012.  And a far cry from Franks' 37.1 percentage-point margin in 2016.
