As the stock market crashed and brought on the Great Depression, Jon rocketed to popularity,m going from 930 in 1929 to 121 in 1939.  He eventually spent 15 years (1960-1974) in the top 100, peaking at #65 in 1968.  His decline accelerated during the final years of the 20th century.
