The Badgers athletic director met with the team this week to discuss uncertainty surrounding coach Luke Fickell’s job security. Players came away from that meeting believing Fickell would be back next season, according to multiple players who spoke with reporters after Saturday’s 34-0 loss to No. 1 Ohio State. BadgerExtra isn’t identifying the players who shared the news because others said they were told not to speak about the content of the meeting with McIntosh.
