COVID-19 is once again rearing its ugly head, causing hospitalizations and cases to increase while the release of updated booster shots is still about a month away.
North Texas hospitals reported 274 COVID hospitalizations Friday, a 16% jump from 237 patients on Monday, Aug. 21, according to Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council data.
