Wearing a clean pair of trousers today, Scott Walker exhibits symptoms of denial

Poll finds voters in Wisconsin 'embarrassed' by Trump's conduct as president.  Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, 8/20/2017)
Voters were asked whether Trump's conduct made them proud or embarrassed them. Sixty-four percent in Wisconsin and Michigan said they were embarrassed, while 63% in Pennsylvania said they were. About 25% of adults in those states said his conduct has made them proud.
Trump has a 33% approval rating among Wisconsin adults, according to the polls by NBC News and Marist. His approval rating sits at 36% and 33% in Michigan and Pennsylvania respectively.
In the 2016 presidential election, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin accounted for a combined 46 electoral votes for Trump.

Trump’s popularity is falling in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.  And basically everywhere else.  (Vox, 10/10/2017)
According to a Morning Consult survey of more than 470,000 Americans, a majority of voters in 25 states and the District of Columbia view the president unfavorably — including states like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, which swung from Barack Obama to Trump in 2016 to give him the Electoral College votes to win.
These results are consistent with findings from a separate survey of 15,000 rural Americans conducted by Reuters/Ipsos, which found Trump’s approval ratings slipping in areas largely considered to be the archetype of Trump country.
