Beyond CES 2016: The Brita Infinity Pitcher

This smart water pitcher orders its own filters: Amazon and Brita unveil the ‘Infinity Pitcher’.  (GeekWire, 2/29/2016)
The Brita Infinity Pitcher, announced today, joins a wave of devices and home appliances that now use Amazon Dash Replenishment to trigger an automatic re-order of essential supplies and components that will be delivered directly to consumers’ homes.

Overall, the early reviews are lukewarm, at best.

From a 5-star "The future is here, and it quenches my thirst" to a 1-star "What use is the tech if the pitcher leaks?"

Bottom line:  For me, any device that automatically connects me with Amazon is a non-starter.
