Republican President Donald Trump will visit Iowa in July to kick off the celebration of America's 250th birthday, marking his first visit to the first-in-the-nation GOP caucus state since his return to the White House.
Trump is slated to deliver a speech at 7:30 p.m. July 3 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, his campaign announced in an email Friday, June 20.
Trump last attended the Iowa State Fair in August 2023 in the leadup to Iowa's 2024 Republican presidential caucuses. [emphasis added]
