In the last statewide Marquette Law School poll to ask about cannabis in January 2024, 63% of registered voters favored legal marijuana for adults, while only 29% were opposed. On the question of medical marijuana, 86% of registered voters were supportive.
Republican voters in Wisconsin were split on the question of legal weed -- 46% in favor to 46% opposed. But that was before Trump, the leader of the party, announced in September he would vote for recreational marijuana in Florida.
