Basic timeline
1. Smart Sand fills in 2.5 acres of wetlands to built rail yard on Union Pacific railroad, which provides a direct connection to Texas oil fields.
2. Completed facility includes more than 6 miles of rail spurs and concentric loops.
3. Union Pacific phases out facility less than a year later in cost-cutting move.
Union Pacific Director of Public Affairs, i.e., lobbyist, Adrian Guerrero, donated $9,500 to Scott Walker in 2016-17.
