A Madison Classic: Norris Court Apartments

Norris Court is a complex of 12 brick buildings located in Madison's Tenney-Latham neighborhood, within the block bounded by East Johnson, North Paterson, East Gorham, and North Brearly streets.  The buildings were constructed over a period of time between 1915 and 1925.

Ultimately, five more buildings were erected facing onto the beautifully landscaped green space known as Norris Court -- the heart of the complex.
I suspect the current landscaping ain't what it used to be.

The business storefronts have been in nearly continuous operation since 1925.
