Construction of New Cedar Rapids Library Starts December 5
Construction of new library set to start Dec. 5. (Cedar Rapids Gazette, 10/11/2011)
Excerpt: Construction of the new library across from Greene Square Park in the 400 block of Fourth Avenue SE is expected to start Dec. 5. The library — a $49 million project when design, land, contents, contingency and other costs are factored in — is slated to open in June 2013.
