GET ME REWRITE: Rural Minnesotans complain about wildfire smoke ruining summer but keep electing climate-denying troglodytes to Congress

Headline:  Minnesota Star Tribune "Essential Minnesota" email, 8/1/2025

Zoe Jackson reports:
This year’s combination of heat, smoke and rain has some Minnesotans worried about a wasted summer, normally a glorious reprieve from our long winters indoors.
The latest round of Canadian wildfire smoke is expected to last through at least Saturday. It’s the fourth time this summer the air quality reached unsafe levels for more than a day, according to data from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
While this summer is not the hottest, the wettest or even the smokiest in the Twin Cities' recorded history, it has been above-average in each way.
