In 1971, the Enfield Square Mall opened its doors to hundreds of happy mall goers. Fifty-two years later, Amazon has taken the place of the shopping mall. Store signs have disappeared, and entrances are guarded by metal gates. Gone are the anchor stores like G. Fox, JCPenney, and Sears. 

Used to shop here on occasion when I lived in Springfield Massachusetts during the late 1970s.  Also shopped here, whi.
