The majority of women named Karen are Baby Boomers

Karen rocketed to popularity during the 1930s, going from #689 in 1930 to #34 in 1940.

During the Boomer years, 1946 to 1964, the name spent most of its time in the top 10.

Karen's popularity peaked at #3 in 1965 and remained in the top 10 for another 3 years, which means there are plenty of Karens among Gen-Xers.

The popularity of Karen as a baby name for girls started to plummet 10 years before the meme took hold.
