Middleton cracks The Case of the Quadrennial Democrats, thanks to hardworking Middleton Action Team volunteers and the big-picture strategy and well-honed organizing skills of JoAnna Richard

In Middleton, Tony Evers received 397 more votes than Hillary Clinton did in 2016, an increase of 4.5%.

Typically, Democrats, unlike Republicans, tend to stay home in droves during midterm elections.

The Wisconsin percentages for the top races:
2008-2010 drop in total votes for Democrats:  40%
2008-2010 drop in totals votes for Republicans:    8%

2012-2014 drop in total votes for Democrats:  31%
2012-2014 drop in total votes for Republicans:  11%

Not so this year!
2016-2018 drop in total votes for Democrats:  4%
2016-2018 drop in total votes for Republicans:  8%
