Loretta was a very steady performer from 1900 to 1960, never dropping below #138 and peaking at #62 in 1938. Loretta Young's movie credits date back to the late 1920s, but it wasn't until the 1940s -- she won a Best Actress Oscar for The Farmer's Daughter (1947) -- when she really hit her stride. Nevertheless, she probably deserves some credit for that 1930s bump. She quickly fell our of favor after 1970.
