Oklahoma: Shakin' All Over




Oklahoma Geological Survey adds analyst to research increased earthquake activity.  (Tulsa World, 4/10/2015)
 The panel discussed the increase in earthquakes in the state in the past five years, the possible links to wastewater disposal wells from oil and gas activity and the response so far from regulators and lawmakers. 

Oklahoma last year recorded 585 earthquakes greater than 3.0 magnitude, exceeding California. There have been 260 in that category so far this year, including nine greater than 4.0.
