I like the juxtaposition of "butter" and "gripped the market".
The cash price for a pound of butter on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange has fallen 54 cents in three days, reversing a trend of skyrocketing prices for dairy products that had gripped the market during late summer.
What better way to celebrate the price drop -- not yet reflected in the grocery store, unfortunately -- than with this butter cookie recipe that calls for a pound of butter!!
