- New methods of packaging and promotion haven't reversed this trend.
- Wrigley has a 53% market share.
*The actual flavorings used in Doublemint gum are a trade secret, but the company does say that the main flavor ingredient is peppermint. Although it is not a sugarless gum, Wrigley's replaced some of the sugar with aspartame and acesulfame potassium, both artificial sweeteners, in 2003. (Wikipedia)
