AllMusic: Lookin' for a Love Again.
No argument here. "You're Welcome, Stop on By" was the second single. As with most of this soulman's numbers, this one has that irresistible, percolating rhythm augmented by Womack's wailing delivery.
Lookin' for a Love Again made its debut on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart on February 9, 1974. It peaked at #85, powered by the single "Lookin' for a Love", which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"You're Welcome, Stop on By", the second single from the album Lookin' for a Love Again, made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 on July 6, 1974 -- inauspiciously, at #97. It never gained any momentum and peaked at #57, spending a short 7 weeks on the chart. The song deserved much better.
