This week in the cereal aisle: Make up your mind already!



What to name the cereal:  A timeline
  • 1950 | Introduced as Corn Pops
  • 1951 | Name changed to Sugar Corn Pops
  • Late 1950s/early1960s | Sugar Pops (the name I remember from my childhood)
  • 1978 | Sugar Corn Pops
  • 1984 | Corn Pops
  • 2006 | Pops
  • 2006 | Corn Pops

Sugar Pops are tops!  And 'shot with sugar'.
