Sky News Meteorologist Tamsin Green said February has started with plummeting temperatures in comparison to sizzling heat last month.
“We've seen real extremes across the country. We've seen 50C in recent days and now we've got snow across Tasmania … there was snow falling in some portions of Tasmania, a real contrast after seeing the fourth hottest January on record and now February has started pretty chilly,” Green said.
