Headline: Wisconsin State Journal, 4/17/2023
It's the usual suspects listed as sponsors -- the most reactionary members of the state legislature. Two of them -- the red highlights -- are the queen and king of election deniers in Wisconsin. Two others -- orange highlights -- have been honored by the Wisconsin Library Association: Mary Felzkowski as "Legislator of the Year" and Steve Nass as a "Library Champion".
Here's an example of their mindset.
“I'm all for helping people that need help, but unfortunately our safety net has become a hammock over the years,” Rep. Donna Rozar, vice chair of the Assembly Committee on Health, Aging and Long-term Care, said at a public hearing Wednesday.
