Wisconsin 2022 elections: Who will run in the 5th Senate District now that Dale Kooyenga is not seeking re-election?

  

Just a threat at this point.

Dale Kooyenga served in Assembly from January 2011 until December 2016.  He has represented the 5th Senate District since January 2017.   The District has been trending purple since Trump was elected president.

Additionally, Republican Sen. Dale Kooyenga, of Brookfield, said this week he will not run again due to changes in his legislative district under new maps adopted by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
