I think Christine Walsh misses the point here; she refers to the creators as architects.  On his website, artist Alex Schweder calls his work "performance architecture". The New School Parsons website notes that artist Ward Shelley specializes in large projects that freely mix sculpture and performance.




From the 1980 Grammy "Album of the Year" winner.  It spent 116 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, never reaching the top spot.  It peaked at #6. 

"Ride Like the Wind" was the first cut from Cross's debut album to be released as a single.  It debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending February 16, 1980, peaked at #2, and spent 21 weeks on the chart.
