Not want to soil our fingertips with newsprint anymore?

Retiring Guy has always been quite the newspaper junkie. He remembers in 1984 when Time magazine featured an article on the "10 best U.S. dailies". (There were two lists, actually: one for newspapers with a circulation more than 100,000 and one for newspapers with a circulation under 100,000 -- "Big Fish in Small Ponds".) He ended up subscribing to 7 of them for various periods of time: the Boston Globe, the Des Moines Register, the Los Angeles Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the St. Petersburg Times, the Fort Myers News-Press, and the Jackson (MS) Clarion-Ledger,
