In Wisconsin, Winnebago County is on fire with the virus


In Winnebago County, the number of new reported cases in the past week increased 40% from the previous week.


Zero ICU beds and zero intermediate care beds were available Friday in the Fox Valley, an eight-county region designated by the Healthcare Emergency Readiness Coalition. In total, the region has 104 ICU beds and 29 intermediate care beds. 
The Fox Valley, which includes Appleton and Oshkosh, also recorded two available beds in medical-surgical units out of 450.

The percentage of county residents fully vaccinated is 4 percentage points lower than the state average of 61%.
