On its website, Grosse Point Farms is described as a beautiful, upscale, suburban community on the shores of Lake St. Clair in southeastern Michigan. Since its establishment in 1892, Grosse Pointe Farms has become one of the premier neighborhoods in the country.

Bordering Detroit, it is located in the northeastern corner of Wayne County amongst its other Grosse Point brethren.

Its population peaked in 1960


It is an overwhelmingly white community.


Romney received 67% of the vote in the 2012 Presidential election.
