This short video seems to tie in the with 1st bullet point below.

Stoughton High School students can make nearly anything with high-tech Fab Lab. (Wisconsin State Journal, 5/26/2013)

Excerpt:  Funded through a grant from the Cummins Foundation and matching funds provided by local businesses and organizations, the $206,000 Fab Lab features five types of computer-controlled machines:
  • A 3D printer that creates plastic products.
  •  A vinyl cutter that also handles flexible metallic material.
  • A small milling machine that can be used with wood, metal or plastic.
  • Two laser cutters and engravers that can carve designs into wood, stone or glass.
  • A large milling machine, or ShopBot, that can cut wood, aluminum or acrylic to make items such as furniture.

Available to students in the fall of 2013.   Available to residents of the Stoughton School District "next year".
