Public Libraries and Tax Forms: Sign o' the Times

Excerpt: The Kenosha Public Library is reducing some of its paper collection, in the form of tax returns, but not until next year.
Signs have been placed in library branches stating that this is the last year paper tax return forms will be available.
Tom Carson, head of reference services for the Kenosha Public Library, said the action was due to decreased demand.
“More and more people are moving to the Internet for their tax returns,” Carson said. “A large percentage of people have already filed their taxes online.
